Some people keep life long journals

Some don't.
I just spoke to Mom and Dad at Ruby Hospital in Morgantown.
Dad's pretty disoriented. For the most part I just listened, let him talk, and sometimes did a bit of steering. He's suffering a UTI which is apparently the cause of the disorientation. Today's Monday and it's not certain when he'll be released.
The staff has to check on the status of his stools, the progress of the UTI, and other such things.
Mom sounded very good, but this has to be so tough on her. So glad that Beth and Anne are there to give her breaks and support.

I'm in yet another financial crisis. Story of my life as it were. Slowest window season ever, little house/pet sitting work (altho there's a big one at months end which will cover a big chunk of September rent).
I've been kind of numbed out and somewhat frozen by the overwhelming nature of things. I know when the tough gets going, etc, but I do some times withdraw and wait for developments when things get nasty.

Today and tomorrow we take steps.
